First check for suction at the inlet with the hose disconnected. If there is suction, check to see if the filters, floor nozzle, suction hose or extension wand is blocked by removing each part and checking for blockage. A broomstick handle can be used to clear the hose once it is removed from the machine. Also check to make sure the floor cleaning tool is on the proper setting. If there is no suction at the inlet, check the Dust Bag to see if it is full. If needed, replace this with a new Dust Bag. Also check to ensure the closure tab on the Dust Bag is not covering the inlet. Make sure this closure tab Dust Bag is properly folded back. If you continue to experience difficulty with low suction, please have your machine inspected at a local BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
