1. The Clean Filter Indicator will remain green until airflow is reduced. When airflow is reduced it will begin to change to red. When it’s fully red, the airflow is significantly reduced or blocked. The filters will need to be cleaned or replaced or there may be a clog in the hoses.
2. If the Clean Filter indicator stays red after filters have been replaced or cleaned and clogs checked, remove the dirt container and lower tank filter (the plastic tub labeled filter) and turn the machine on. If the indicator turns green, check and clean the Upper-Tank area & Pre and Post-Motor filters for debris. Dirty filters can restrict airflow, turning the indicator red.
3. If the Clean Filter Indicator is still red, please take your vacuum to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://canada.bissell.com/support/product-support/service-centers or by calling 1-800-263-2535, available 24 hours a day.
