My Flip-Ease or Vac&Shine® will not hold a charge. What should I do?


1. How long does the machine hold a charge? The average run time for dry-vacuuming is 12 minutes. If the machine is running for about this amount of time, the charge is okay. If it’s not holding at least 12 minutes, go to the next step.

2. Make sure to fully charge the unit. The recommended charge-time is 12 hours. Please note: if the machine is in the “on” position while charging, it won’t charge. It must be switched off to charge.

3. Try the following tips to help your cleaner run longer:

a) Completely run the charge out of the unit.

b) Fully charge for the 12 hours.

c) Completely discharge the unit again

d) Fully charge unit for the 12 hours once again

e) At this point, the run time should be normal (approximately 12 minutes for dry vacuuming). If not, the battery is most likely bad.
