Why is the ready light on my Steam Sponge™ not turning on?

Answer:

The ready light should illuminate immediately after the steamer is plugged into a functioning outlet. This light means the machine is plugged in and on, not that it’s ready to steam. The unit takes approximately 30 seconds to heat up and be ready to use. Make sure that the outlet you’re using works with another appliance. If it does, please call us at 1-800-263-2535, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., or Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. A representative will be ready and waiting to help you out!
