If your BISSELL Sweeper is not picking up, please check the following: - If the dust pan(s) are full, please empty them. -Are the brushes turning? Is so, static build-up could cause the sweeper not to pick up debris. Use a clothes dryer to warm an anti-static dryer sheet, such as Bounce, for 5 minutes and then wipe the brush/brushes with the warm dryer sheet for approximately 1 minute. If no, inspect the brush to make sure it is free of lint, strings, or carpet fiber that could prevent it from turning. Also, inspect the bristles to make sure they are not worn or frayed. These can be replaced by calling Consumer Services at 1-800-263-2535, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., or Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., ET. A representative will assist you.
