Please note: the brush doesn’t spin manually and the brush will turn when both upright and reclined.
1. First, remove the brush and check it. To do this, remove the “sole” plate with 6 screws on the bottom of the unit. Then, remove the belt cover (on the non-cord side). Now you can slide the brush out. If it appears damaged or worn, you can replace it by taking your ProDry® to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://canada.bissell.com/support/product-support/service-centers or by calling 1-800-263-2535, available 24 hours a day.
2. Now, check the belt for damage. If the belt is damaged, you can replace it by clicking here: http://canada.bissell.com/belt-2037226?productid=8350
3. The Overcurrent protector may have been tripped. Try turning the unit off and waiting at least 15 seconds. This should reset the protector.
