Low or No Suction BISSELL® Pet Hair Eraser® Turbo

If you find that your vacuum has lost some of its suction power, there are a couple fixes to try:

  • First, make sure your vacuum is turned off an unplugged before performing any sort of repairs
  • If you’re experiencing low suction, slide the floor type button on the handle to the low carpet setting
  • If this didn’t fix the problem, there may be a problem with the main hose. First remove the dirt tank
  • Now, remove the main hose from the vacuum and disconnect from the wand. Check for any cracks or holes in the hose
  • Use a broom handle to push out any potential clogs from the hose or wand
  • Reconnect the main hose to the wand and vacuum
  • The lower hose may be clogged. To check, first unscrew the 9 screws holding the bottom brush roll cover, and remove the cover
  • Next, disconnect the lower hose by twisting counter-clockwise and pulling away from the vacuum. Push out any potential clogs with a broom handle
  • The dirt tank may be full or not placed correctly on the vacuum. Empty the dirt tank and clean the filters as explained in the Empty Dirt Tank and Filter Cleaning video

We hope you found these tips useful and your vacuum is now working properly again!
